INDIAN MARKETS CALLS FOR 08 FEBRUARY 2010
I am not able to access updated prices on quote.com..data is missing (Friday morning's as well as Saturday's short trading session)
You can keep trailing stops at 200 EMA on 5 mins charts as we are in trending conditions.(I feel that should keep you away from intra day noise as well as keep you with trend)

sir,
ReplyDeleteAm short in gmr infra. 200 EMA on 5 mins charts is @ 55.64. Last trading price 56 and weighted average is @55.45. Does it mean that I am stopped out?
Further, there is possibility we will open above 55.64. SHALL I EXIT TOMORROW in that case?
hi vvvvv

the stock is very volatile..so stops should be wide other wise you will easily get chopped both ways, trade in less quantity, better times will come,
I just saw its Saturday's price move from 53 - 56 thats a big intra day move, ending the day on high indicates short term strength and short covering....56.5 will be SAR ..try connecting the top of tuesday and wednesday ... trend line resistance will be around 56.5...its difficult with out proper charts...
You can exit as well for the time being as volatility is high in this stock
can you send me the link where you are checking these information from?
Cheers

ReplyDeleteHi mojib,
ReplyDeletewelcome to the trading world
I am a swing trader, and i rarely day trade, just use intra day to book profit and get in at appropriate times. To start with, you can check the "new visitor' label
http://financeandtradingmadeeasy.blogspot.com/search/label/New%20Visitor
Regarding software i feel Metastock is the best ,but it is very expensive,I don't use it though
Website i use quote.com charts(15 mins delay, along with Indiabulls charts that takes care of the delay)
Learning technical analysis and achieving consistency will take time and lots of effort (years),so have patience and enjoy the learning.
this post is most important
