Comparison of current interest rates data of various countries/regions along with recent rate trend

Below is a table showing a comparison of current interest rates data of various Countries/regions along with recent interest rate trend. The current interest rate is the rate at which banks can borrow money from the central bank. The interest rates are used by central banks to shape monetary policy.

With respect to Indian Interest rate, tomorrow Reserve Bank of India (RBI) will review the interest rate. October Index of Industrial Production (IIP) figures released on Monday showed a 5.1 percent negative growth in output. Monthly Wholesale Price Index (WPI) inflation for the month of November has come in at 9.11%. The dilemma that the RBI is facing is that there are two battles to fight - inflation and growth. It is a really hard balancing act that the RBI has to do.

Oh really, I didn't go to that part of the village, for the past few days. He has opened a new outlet next to my house in GMS road. So now I will have the advantage of being ahead in the queue.
